Overview
Our vision is a society where Central and Eastern European communities are integrated and welcomed in the UK and where Central and Eastern European arts and culture are understood and recognised nationally and internationally.
We will offer creative English and conversation classes at our centre in Digbeth.
Creative English uses dramatic, interactive classes that portray real-life situations, such as liaising with public services to develop English skills, encourage interaction and build confidence.
These classes are only for adults (18 years and older) who have a primary level of English (Pre-entry – Entry 1 ESOL) and speak English as a second language.
Centrala also provide the following services for central and Eastern European Communities living in Birmingham and the surrounding area:
- Communal space
- Free parking
- Free tea\coffee and biscuits
Collaboration as a tool for building communities and a sense of ownership, as well as own capacities.
